The second version of the HPL engine was used to create Amnesia – The Dark Descent. A modified version of HPL2 was used to create Amnesia – A Machine For Pigs, often referred to as HPL2.5.
You can find extensive documentation about the engine and the games below, including downloads for various tools and tutorials on how to create your own custom stories.
Because the Machine for Pigs version is in majority identical to the The Dark Descent version, most of the documentation resides in the latter.
