The documented SOMA Level Editor controls are divided between viewport navigation and the editor toolbars.

Viewport navigation

The viewport documentation describes Maya and Fly controllers. With the Maya controller, holding the view key and the left, middle or right mouse button activates tumble, track or zoom respectively. The documented default view key on Windows is left Alt.

The Fly controller uses the mouse for looking, W/S for forward/backward movement, A/D for sideways movement, and Q/E for vertical movement.

Toolbar controls

The lower toolbar includes grid-plane selection, snapping, grid height, snap separation and viewport enlargement. The edit-mode bar selects the object type being placed or edited.
